Give Old Furniture New Life ...
With Paint, Fabric, And A Little Bling
A picture’s worth a thousand words, as the saying goes. Here’s a great story of two thrift store chairs. Each was $15 and needed some love. The seats were good, as was the wood and caning.
They were petite in size – perfect for a small seating area I was going to be working on. Petite enough that I almost walked by them in the thrift store.
The chairs were sanded, primed, and painted white to coordinate with the room, but they could have easily been cleaned up and stayed with the natural wood color. Fabric was from Joanne’s, and relatively inexpensive. Found the bling buttons for $1 each at another local fabric store on clearance. They really make the tufted areas POP!
