Makes me happy

I still wax nostalgic when I remember my first custom window treatment that was installed at a client’s house. Wow! I still feel the same way. Putting up custom treatments really finishes a space. It differentiates between a room or space that has furniture and a grown up, finished space that you will be proud to call yours. This week, one of my big “out of the ground” projects was finally getting window treatments installed. Custom plantation shutters with molded arches in the front windows were amazing. The arched windows were open to let in sunlight but had molding around it so it looks finished.

In the two bedrooms facing the beautiful lake motorized roller shades were installed with beautiful, fabric-covered cornice board treatments. The master is especially large and felt cavernous before the cornice was installed. Now the rich navy blue cornice brings warmth, and helps feel cozy.

Professional pictures will be coming soon! If you want to see more of my work you can find it on my portfolio page.
